Privacy Policy

The short version

FreelanceCalc does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All calculations run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you enter a dollar amount, a due date, or quarterly income figures, that data never leaves your device. Refresh the page and it's gone.

Information we do not collect

• Financial data you enter into any calculator
• Names, email addresses, or account information
• IP addresses or precise location data
• Browser fingerprints or device identifiers
• Search queries or input history

Information that may be collected by third parties

FreelanceCalc uses Google Fonts to load the Inter typeface. When your browser requests a font file from Google's servers, Google may log that request (including your IP address) according to Google's privacy policy. The font files are served from fonts.googleapis.com.

If this site is deployed on Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare's infrastructure may collect standard server access logs (IP address, browser user agent, page requested, timestamp) as part of providing CDN and hosting services. Cloudflare's data handling is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If Google AdSense or other advertising services are added in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect that. As of the date above, no advertising networks are active on this site.

Cookies

FreelanceCalc does not set any cookies. Your browser may set cookies related to third-party services listed above (Google Fonts, Cloudflare), but FreelanceCalc itself does not create or read cookies for any purpose.

Analytics

If website analytics are added in the future (such as Plausible, Fathom, or Google Analytics), this section will be updated. As of the date above, no analytics tools are active.

Data security

Because FreelanceCalc does not collect or store any user data on a server, there is no database of personal information to protect or breach. Your financial inputs exist only in your browser's memory for the duration of your session.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Given that no personal information is collected at all, this is largely moot — but stated for compliance with COPPA.

Your rights

Because we collect no personal information, there is no data to access, correct, or delete. If you have a concern about data handling related to third-party services (Google, Cloudflare), please contact those services directly using the links above.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes materially (for example, if advertising is added), the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated. We recommend checking it if you visit after a significant gap.
